The Royal George, Birdlip

This is our second attempt at the walk, having been thwarted by the Great Western railway last week.  Starting and finishing at The Royal George Hotel in Birdlip, we had a very pleasant walk, apart from a large heard of curious bulls that came to see us in the last field.  The route takes in the Roman villa and Witcombe reservoir.
